Restaurant and bar
An overnight stay with us always includes our delicious, large breakfast buffet. Bread and cakes are made by our own bakery, and there is a large selection of cold cuts, eggs, bacon, skyr, and various fruits and vegetables.
In addition, it is possible to book a table for a lovely dinner or lunch in our restaurant, which overlooks the park and Skanderborg Lake.
You are also very welcome to use our newly refurbished bar and lounge area, which has a view and direct access to our beautiful green surroundings.

Reception and check-in
Reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day Monday to Saturday. Sunday until 13:00
Check in from 2 pm Monday to Saturday
Check-out No later than 10 am Monday to Saturday. Sunday no later than 11 am
Restaurant and table booking
The restaurant is open for our guests Monday to Thursday until 21:30. If you want to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant, you must book a table at the reception.
Breakfast buffet is included in your stay and is served:
Weekdays 7-9 am
Saturday 7am-10am
Sunday 8-11 am
If you visit us for a meeting or conference, your company will let you know when and where the food will be served.
Transportation and parking
- Skanderborg Park is located just a five-minute drive from the E45
- Max 45 minutes to Vejle, Silkeborg, Randers and Aarhus
- 5 minutes drive from Skanderborg station
- Bus 21 runs from Skanderborg station to the hotel (get off at Fuglestien)
- The walk from Skanderborg station to the hotel takes about 30 minutes (we recommend walking along Sølystvej, Oddervej, up through the forest along Skolestien and down the city path until you reach the hotel on your right)
- We have 148 large free parking spaces available
- If you come by electric car, we have eight Clever chargers available
Pillow menu
We have a pillow menu so you can choose the pillow that gives you the best comfort. So if you'd rather have a different pillow than the one in your room when you arrive, just contact our reception.
Facilities
At Skanderborg Park we have several activities that you can enjoy during your stay. The hotel is in a scenic location, so our outdoor areas offer opportunities for walks in our own park and forest. In the surrounding area there are also great opportunities for walking and running. There are trail systems right outside the door, from where you can reach forest areas such as Anebjerg Forest.
Inside we have cozy lounge areas where guests are free to play billiards, table football or table tennis, and we also have a small gym.
