Our new beautiful conference hall and bar & lounge area are now ready. The new surroundings inspire and bring people together. The next phase will be completing our 37 new rooms, which are expected to be ready in Spring 2027.

New conference and banquet hall
Our new conference and banqueting hall is a bright and inviting gathering space with room for up to 250 guests. Here you'll find high ceilings, large windows, lake views, and direct access to the park – perfect settings for both larger meetings and conferences as well as private parties.

New bar and lounge area
The new lounge area with a bar and coffee station is a natural extension of the new hall. Here, guests can enjoy a drink or a cup of coffee and recharge in a calm environment. The area is furnished with both high tables and soft seating, offering space for both conversation and relaxation.
37 new rooms
We will have 37 new hotel rooms, bringing our total number of rooms to 107. The new rooms will be established in the Finance Sector Training Center's (FU) current office premises, which are located in direct extension of Skanderborg Park. FU is building a new development house with modern office facilities - also located in the park.
The new hotel rooms will be ready in early 2027.

All the practicalities of construction
Why are we building?
Skanderborg Park is doing well and we're experiencing high demand. More and more people are discovering the opportunities in Skanderborg, which is why we are now expanding.
The Financial Sector Training Center (FU), which owns Skanderborg Park, will have new and modernized office facilities in a new "development house" - located at the same address.
When do we build?
The construction period is from May 2025 to end of 2026.

How will the neighbors feel the construction?
We are doing what we can to minimize inconvenience to our neighbors, but there will be a period of increased heavy traffic on Skovsvinget and construction activity during daytime hours on weekdays.
How do we replant and recycle?
In connection with expansion of parking lots and construction of a new office building, a number of trees will be cut down. We investigated whether the trees could be used for furniture, but unfortunately they were too poor quality. Fortunately, some of the trees can be used for log benches, which we will keep here at Skovsvinget. The rest of the trees will be turned into wood chips.
We're replanting trees in other areas of the site and establishing natural hedges to screen the parking area.
Surplus soil is used on your own property as much as possible.
